Did you double-check the view to make sure that "send updates" didn't get unchecked? I had that happen once and I swear I didn't touch the view. Don't know what made it un-check itself.

>I have a client that had a power outage yesterday on a Novell server and it corrupted a SCHEDULE.DBF table's memo file. No problem I rebuilt that. However, I have BIZZARE problem that has occurred. The user saves an Invoice entry that is wrapped in a Transaction and the Save processes without any errors. However, the Invoice master and detail records DO NOT get written to the base table. However, the view was assigned the next Invoice number and looked OK. No software was changed!

>The VERY DISTURBING problem is that the program did not get any errors nor did the TABLEUPDATE() fail in the transaction. It even assigned the next INVOICE number to the View that was being updated. However, once I went in and looked at the Base Tables, the Tables DID NOT have the new record added to it.

>This problem worries me alot. I am having to run my balance rebuilder because about 60 Receipt records were entered as well that updated the line item and invoice header records but never recorded the receipt records into the receipt master and receipt detail tables. I copied the tables as they were at the clients to my WIN2K notebook and saw the same problem and resolved it the same way by PACKing the tables.
