Here's one more:
* This is a multi-line;
comment block. The ending semi-colon;
cause the compiler to treat this as a;
single line. The syntax coloring, however,;
doesn't apply for comments after the first;
line.
As far as multiple commands per line, I'd say a big: No! Makes it harder to read. Back in the old interpreted BASIC days, you could use a colon to place multiple commands on the same line. This was done mainly to save memory. With the advent of native and pcode compilers, however, this reason for placing multiple commands per line went the way of the dodo. Stick with readability.
