Clayton Moore was my childhood hero. I use to watch The Lone Ranger (He really wasn't a "LONE" Ranger; he always had Tonto to help him) everyday after school. (Gosh that was over twenty three years ago) :(

Anyway, being such a fan you would think l'd know if he said Hi-Ho or Hi-Yo. However, now that you mention it I think he does say "HI-YO!".
