It looks as thou the competition between cable and DSL is heating up. So I would hope cable customer service to improve.

I just read on ZDNet that Excite@home is suing Pac Bell for their latest DSL ad. They have a new ad on tv that shows a neighborhood where everyone is happy. Then in the next scene they are all fighting, yelling at each other, at the mailman, etc.

The announcer voice-over then mentions that the reason they are all upset is because the all have cable modem and too many people in the neighborhood have signed up. If they want to become happy again they'll have to sign up for PacBell DSL so they won't be sharing the bandwidth with the rest of the neighborhood.

Ain't competition a good thing.
