Then you know my next question.... Can you share that HTML-text-sucking code? I'll run thru the HTML-based book I found and make a .txt. I can then UL it to the UT, unless it gets folks in (copyright) trouble, and then I'll just keep it on my personal site. I think showing big string handling functions is a great example of VFP scaling easily. Thanks again.



>I never did find anything as one big txt file. I downloaded each HTML file and then wrote a little PRG to read each one into a variable, then used STRTOFILE() to write the single file back out.
