I had used alt-221 to show the dark thick lines, but I see that doesn't post too well. Anyway, What I am seeing are dark thick lines kind of like a barcode "|||"...Thanks

>I have my application running beta right now at 2 sites. Both of these sites have had occurrences where there are a bunch of "¨„¨„¨„" in each character field of a few records. I have searched through and read alot of posts regarding what can cause this. What I really need is a way to "fix" this if it can be. Otherwise I would at least like to be able to determine which tables have these corrupt records. I would write a prg that would just scan all of the records of all of the tables If I knew how to search for "¨„". I have noticed that when I browse one of these tables that if i set focus to one of the fields that has these lines it then goes blank. I also noticed in the hex editor that the record was full of "00".
