I trained to be Peoplesoft guru, but decided that the whole thing was a big headache.
comments:
1. it caches a lot of different kinds of stuff at the workstation.
2. API??!! Ha! It hasn't come very far since it's inception in the late 80's
3. You are looking at about $250,000 worth of work.
4. If you come even close to pulling this off, you will be able to demand $250 an hour for your time and time and a half for all the overtime you can handle.
5. Peoplesoft guru:
Dan_Hannon@bit.com or
d_hannon@hotmail.com - Mississauga, Ontario.
>I was just informed that my project " Create something like PeopleSoft that actauly works" just got turned into "Enhance PeopleSoft so only the data we need here is stored here".
>I now need to learn some of the specifics of PeopleSoft, like how to get into the API, capture events, rempte sync data, etc.
>Any advice or pointer to a guru will be greatly appreciated.
