Did you try a reinstall of VS after the W2k upgrade?

>ever since I upgraded to Win2k, whenever I compile/link a project ( even a "Hello World" ) in Visual C++, the screen turns black, I know it's not a VFP problem but we are encouraged to use the "Studio", I've searched MSDN and can only find references to this being a Visual Basic problem, any ideas gratefuly received
