Hmmm, this does make me think of a problem that I have with the same statement I use in a program. Though the syntax is 100% correct it occasionally errors (on only some machines) with a data type mishmatch error. It makes me wonder if the problem is not just a bug in VFP. I thought about a timing error; did you test this one more than one machine ? what is the configuration of the problem machines ?


I did not solve it yet. If you find the cause of this, I'll be happy if you inform me how you solved the problem.
