Could the Java/DHTML be distributed? It may sound daft, but we're in a market where individuals or companies may not want to be online while they use our application. We were hoping to keep them happy by sending the app out on a CD with the data, etc.

Don't know much about internet development to tell you the truth. I just have an idea and don't know how to go about implementing it.
