Can someone advise?

I attempted to use VSS with VFP between 2 developers. It started out fine, although very slow.

The only problem was, when I built an EXE file to test the system, it couldn't append records to any of the tables.

I checked out the database, but that didn't make any difference, and then I noticed that all the tables were read-only under VSS.

Am I doing something wrong? or can I somehow "tweak" VSS to enable me to write to the tables?
