Bruce,

>I think there was once a bug like this, where if you were at EOF() of a selected file, the SEEK() function did not work correctly on a non-selected table. Kind of like that REPLACE bug. I thought it had been fixed by vfp6 SP3, however, as I have had no trouble for a long while using SEEK()

I'm using VFP6 SP3, so it is not that problem.

>I would test it with the simple SET ORDER/SEEK commands a while, if it's any different problem it should show up there.

I'm currently tracking where the problem lies, however this problem occurs on a machine of one of my clients, so tracking the problem is not that easy, since the only contact is by phone and E-mail.

Your suggestion is certainly one to keep in mind. If my current solution does not work I'll try yours.

Thanks,

Walter,
