Your definition is at odds with general use of the term related to computer viruses. The anti-virus people know how they all work, but that doesn't stop them from being considered viruses.

This one, BTW, is causing great problems at my large corporate client. They had to shut down the email server this morning, since with close to 1000 email accounts and various distribution lists referencing them, I LOVE YOU took over the system.

My inbox this morning had 45 I LOVE YOU's. They still have not brought the system back up yet. But many of my co-workers were giggling about how much love they got this morning. :-)
