I get the message 'file in use' when i attempt to open a file
This still occurs after placing the command 'close tables all' before atempting to open.
what could be happening?
i am calling a program from a form.

however when the command 'close tables all' is issued at the command wind
everything works fine.

another thing is a get funny characters(boxes) when i press enter in an edit box.

can anyone help me out?
