Scott,
>All of a sudden (at noon last thursday) ALL of our ASP apps started running nightmarishly slow (like 20 times slower):
>*ASP only using ADO connections to VFP tables
>*ASP calling VB COMs querying VFP tables
>*ASP calling VFP COMs querying VFP tables
Where does Server Reboot fit into the above picture? Has it been done? Any new software or service packs installed on the server? Anyone been "tweaking" server settings, like changing to running ASP apps in different isolation mode, etc?
Or network problems -- are the VFP tables on the same server as the ASP apps? If not, are they accessed via a network segment that could have a bad netcard or hub?
Any change in the number of users accessing these ASP apps? Any recent changes (like last Thursday about noon) to the ASP apps, the foxisapi apps, or the VFP tables themselves?
"All of a sudden" usually has a logical explanation if a reboot doesn't solve it and you can eliminate network problems from the picture.
