you probably use the fiile exclusively
USED returns .f. because a private datasession is just that private it is
the same as having the table opened in another computer
mark the tables shared and readonly in the DE
note that SET EXCLUSIVE is scoped to the datasession (ie you have to reset
it for each private datasession)
