Framework refers to a set of base and extended object classes to inforce consistency in application construction, avoidence of re-coding common functionality, and thru class inheritence propagating changes and extentions rapidly and throughout applications. Frameworks typically included application objects and extended controls such as smart grids and modal/modeless form class extentions. CodeBook is usually a reference to the frameworks for Fox2.6 and 3.0 developed and placed the public domain by Flash Technologies. Books describing much of the the CodeBook frameworks are generally available though must is still there for discovery. There are also commerically available frameworks for both application and web/application integration such as X-Works and FoxExpress. Each framework is an expression of the developers view of application structure and style. I am not sure there is a 'right' one, only one you can feel closely matches your approach and one you decide to invest in the learning curve. Also most developers (being the 'I like it this way' type of personality) extend the frameworks for their own purposes and likes/dislikes. If none fits, build you own -- many have. Also VFP5 includes an application wizard that is not unlike the TasTraders app and CodeBook -- I believe Flash had a hand in the TasTrader example.
