'Lo all. I had one computer, and one Palm, and all was right with the world. That changed with the need to synch with a new machine. Installation of the Desktop went without a hitch, but during my first Hot-Synch it prompted me for the handheld password. As far as I can tell, I supplied it, a fact I've verified by checking the password I set in the Security app several ways. However, the Hot-Synch IMMEDIATELY denies continuing the synch due to a bad password. I emphasize immediately because, even on an Athlon 500 system, it seems that Hot-Synch is booting me too quickly. Am I missing a configuration on the Desktop? Is there another password in the Palm besides the one I set in the Security app? Is it even possible to Synch one Palm on multiple machines? I don't need to tell you how much I need this to work, and the concept of hand-transposing all contents and doing a hard reset is far from attractive.
