yup... that's how it got me. Major drag, I had over 2500 infected files by the time I got the latest McAfee DAT with fix loaded. Luckily though I managed to avoid the corrupted kernal problem, and dont think I emailed it out anywhere, and the password stealer never got downloaded. But boy what a freaking mess!

My tape drive is still smoking from all nighter backup restores...
