OIC, how about this: In the DblClick() change the Width and Height (and maybe Top and Left) to be the size you want and add a 'HotKey' to put it back. You would be constrained by the form size though.

You could use the form route and just put a big EditBox on it. Turn off the title bar, put cancel button 'behind' the editbox and set it's Cancel property to .T. (so it gets clicked when the user hits ESC). You'll need to handle giving them close it and save what they typed.

>I don't want a form to be called when the text box is double clicked. I just want a memo text window to open that can be used to paste a large amount of text into, rather than putting the text in the relatively small text box on the form. Does that make sense?

In Rome, there was a poem.
About a dog, who found two bone.
He lick the one, he lick the other.
