I have a form (many actually) that was converted from FPW 2.6 to VFP 6.0 sp3. Because of this it is a READ form rather than MODAL or MODELESS and is also a FORMSET if that makes a difference. The problem is that if a value in a field (textbox) is changed, the variable I am using as the controlsource doesn't get updated until that field has lostfocus (basically until I tab to the next field). It is a simple GATHER MEMVAR MEMO at the press of a button to save the changes. I have gone as far as putting an invisible button on the form and setting focus to this prior to gathering but this does not work. What's odd is it seems to work if I step through it with the debugger. I think I remember running into this in FP 2.6 but have no idea how I got around it. Any ideas?
