Anything is possible. I've seen problem trying to import date value that are blank (ie __/__/__).

If you're doing any transformations, try converting the Oracle date/time to a string in the form YYYYMMDD HH:MM:SS. I've had the best luck with this format because SQL Server always interprets it the same way.
