AMD has an Athlon 1Ghz, and i've heard rumors about an Intel 1.5Ghz.
(yeah, it's called a toaster oven- Ironically, the chips keep getting smaller and smaller, while the heat sinks get larger and larger. Eventually the CPU will become a black hole wrapped in superconducting ceramics.)
