Maybe it's a Win98 thing. My NT system has .Top = -2 and .Left = -4 so they are pretty much the same, but I have't experienced any problems with the task bar not displaying. Sometimes (not very often) I experience that after a system modal form displays. I press CTRL-ESC to bring it up explicitly and that seems to clear up the problem.
