Hi Judy,
I may also advise you use Grid instead of listbox and make it's appearance like listbox. I have a negative experience with ListBoxes based on more than 100 records (at least, for multiselect listboxes it's true), so since then I prefer to use Grid instead.
>First and foremost, I would advise against a filtered table as they are slow. For what you are doing I would use a SQL SELECT to a cursor for the record source. HTH

What is the preferred source for the list box, an array, a cursor created from a SQL statement or the table that is filtered? Will there be a difference in the response time on the list box?

If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
