Well, when a discussion comes down to semantics, as the an argument about monopoly inherently does, a dictionary is the closest thing we have to an authority. If the law were specific enough about its definition of a monopoly, or why all monopolies may or may not be bad, you are right, we would not be having this discussion.

That's what my next sentence attempted to explain, but you moved it out of context. The point is, the story isn't always what the book cover suggests when it comes to development. There are things you only find out with practical experience.
