That doesn't really surprise me. What does, if I understood your orginal post correctly, is that both functions are returning GMT, rather than EDT as mine does. Even though you're running NT and I'm on Netware, the core code for the Win32 API should be identical. I'd assume (perhaps an error on my part) that both would access it (NT and 95, that is).

Further, I would think that in versions produced a year or more after the above was written, that the statement in the help file would no longer apply. This may not be the case.

I'm going to check these functions on my home machine, which is not networked and see what the results are. I'll advise of the results.
