Hi,

My c:\WINDOWS\ directory is full of dozens, if not hundreds, of temp files that look like registry entries with a tmp extension. One example is:

"fff32cfb_{2A9A2189-20E9-11D4-9A97-005004785AC9}.tmp"

Questions for anyone that can help me.

1) Where are these coming from?
2) if they're temp files - why aren't they being trashed by whatever creates them?
3) I assume it is OK to trash them myself. Is there any reason I shouldn't? Any Gotchas?

thanks,
