Hi guys,
Well, couple of strange things happenned. I have a NT 4.0 workstation, and
due to connecting to an Internet using dial-up networking I wanted to set
it up.
I have this configuration:
P133 MHz, 32M RAM,
NT 4.0 wrksttion, Novell network, v. 4.11 over Token Ring , Novell NT
32-bit client
Installed services & protocols.:
Novell client, Nwlink IPX/SPX, NetBIOS
IBM dial-out client for NT
So, I installed TCP/IP protocol, then set it up, then I installed RAS,
configured, run and it said I don't have PPP protocol installed or
configured...
I tried all combination I could, but nothing worked unless I installed
Server and Workstation service....... How is it possible, that PPP protocol
is not installed when TCP/IP protocol is installed? I don't want to waste
my computer's memory for thing I'll never use - like server or
workstation... Even resource toolkit says that PPP protocol is installed
with TCP/IP - hmmm how?
Is it posssible to find it somewhere?
