I did see Craig's response after I posted mine. AFAIK, the VFP run-time DLL is not a normal DLL. It is a run-time engine that VFP EXEs bind to when they load. While the DLL may be in the PCs memory cache making it load somewhat faster, it still needs to load the base footprint into memory for the EXE to access.

This is my understanding and I could be wrong.
