I had many problems using the LinkMaster. I set up the relationship with code, so i can control when/where it happens. (also, so i can test it in the command window) You can browse the tables from the command line and can see the relationship is correct. Then link the grids to each table (alias)

If you have more requirements than a simple 1-to-many form, you might want to look at Views (requires a database) It's really a good style to use.
