I think it is great advice. The guy wants to get into VB. The responder gave him advice on transitioning from VFP to VB/SQL Server. It would have been bad advice if the responder suggested that instead, he should stay with Fox. This would have been bad advice since it would not have answered the question..

I am sure many folks up here however, will think otherwise...
