I will be at DevCon in Miami as well. See yoiu there if you can make it.

I do know that the Oracle development tools do not use ODBC. They use their own connection through SQL*Net. I believe Power Builder works the same way.

I believe JVP has developed classes with this type of connectivity with VFP and SQL Server.

>Heh Mark, enjoyed talking to you at DEVCON98 & 99. My problem is that our IS dept is paranoid about using ODBC because it is single threaded. I am trying to find out if amyone is using COM or COM+ to connect to an Oracle database. the database is state accounting data that is millions. I here there is an Oracle dll or some file that will interface with COM. Trying to find someone that has used or configured it is the issue.
