That's certainly worth trying. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time left as the Web server application which uses my COM object is due to go live in Hong Kong next week. Naturally, this problem has only just been brought to my attention.

How would the DLL call the exe ? The exe would have to create a PDF file and return the name of the PDF file to my DLL, which would return it to the calling ASP script. If, under these circumstances, I managed to get the DLL released by MTS, would any instance of the exe called by the DLL be released at the same time ?

I don't have any knowledge of MTS at the moment.
