If you set up persistant relations in the dbc you won't have to bother with those properties at the form level when the tables are added to the DE.

The relation commands work well in VFP you just have to remember where the record pointer is. A little experiementing in the command window can go along way in understanding how related tables work. Set up a relation and open the tables in browse. Alternatively select each table and watch what the record pointer is doing.
