I am curious, what application/interface are you trying to connect Oracle to? It would be easier to use Oracle developer to create your interface, and then with Developer server, use a 3 tier deployment. That way you have all of the security of Oracle, and your code is Oracle's native PL/SQL.
I adminster an app that uses com, but from ASP code. It works, but it could be faster, esp with developer server.
