Have you added the IIS server machine to the domain? To add it, right-click on Network Neighborhood - Identification - Change. Click on Domain - and then check the "Create a Computer Account in the Domain" checkbox and type in an account and password from the PDC that has administrative rights.

When you created the shares on the IIS, did you give access permission to the users of the domain or to the local users of the IIS box? If the box wasn't part of the domain, you didn't so do this.

Try the above or you can use an account and password local to the IIS box not the PDC.
