What kind of load is going to be on your printing part of this web app? How many users simultaneously, etc? Is your COM object called from many .asp pages, or just a few?
Installing WC over there might not be so far-fetched, even with your time constraints. You can work out the details at your site, have WC installed over there -- especially easy if you can PCAnywhere into the HKong server to do the configuration yourself, and ftp your EXE into a WC update directory, then call the WC server update URL to put your changes into effect while the entire site it still up and running.
If you only have a few URL's to change to point to your WC pages instead of ASP's, it could be done quickly. WC already has the PDF-creation classes you need.
You'll get lots of support from the folks who hang out on the
www.west-wind.com/wwthreads board, and if a solution is important enough to you, you might get some really high-priority hand-on help from the experts for a price.
