>>>This is what I will be doing by the end of the month. I will have a DSL line with 1 IP address. This will allow me to run a webserver. Unfortunately, the ISP charges $10 per month for extra IPs. I was wondering if I can buy or get IP address from another sources. Legimately, of course.

>>Well, as I said, you can get a cheap web host, and that will get you an IP. You can save a few bucks off that $10/mo, but I don't know if it's worth the trouble. Unless you want more web space, too, maybe, then it might be worthwhile. Actually some of the web hosts are pretty cheap, with small web space, as I recall from my searching. Maybe you can find one for only a few $/mo.

Hi again,

You can run FTP/eMail and Web servers from a single IP address. They each use different default TCP/IP ports. You can even run multiple web sites by making use of Host Header processing.
