Do realize though that your users might accidentally change this on you - for example, installing a current copy of the NetScape browser might result in NetScape's mail program assuming the mailto: functionality. You might want to check the registry to see what the current mailto class is at runtime; the registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/mailto/shell/open/command contains the current path used to service the mailto: operation.
