Hi Erik
Over the past couple of years, my experience has been that the quantity of replies - definately not the quality - is related to the number on-line users. The replies also come from different parts of the world depending on when you post the question - during our "business hours" you get more replies from this part of the world.
Some of the responses from UT'ers in the past have been fantastic, insightful, and fast as well - my sanity has been saved on a number of occasions - you've actually done it on a couple of occasions...so many thanks.
Anyway , please accept my apologies to all concerned - hope I haven't caused too much trouble...
Cheers
Chris
BTW got a great response from Ed Rauh to the problem which helped heaps.
>>Yep - appreciate this - however when the question "went to air" the number of users on line were pretty thin on the ground.

>>I've found that in the past the number of users online pretty much dictates the number of responses you get. It's a bit difficult to get access to the maximum number of users with the time difference - hence the two messages.

>If you're convinced that the number of users online at the time has an effect on the quality or volume of your responses (I'm not), then wait to post your question until there are more people online.

>Wait at least a day, and preferrably a couple of days before posting repeat questions. This is in the
posting etiquette document.
