Hello. (This is a 're-post', which I'm hoping just got "missed" the first time around :] )

A strange 'glitch' I'm getting in my Outlook Integration/Automation involves moving select messages from the Inbox to another specified folder (which we also created through Automation in the first place) during the execution of a method, using the .Move([DestFolder]) method within the Outlook Object Model.

When the move is made, an exact COPY of the message being moved shows up in Deleted Items. The message, at that point, 1) IS in the folder it was to be moved into, 2) is NOT (of course) in the Inbox any longer, but 3) is ALSO (through a 'copy'?) in the Deleted Items folder.

This, of course, does NOT happen when the move is done manually w/ the right-click in the Outlook Explorer.

[One thing I do not (yet) know is if it is an EXACT duplicate (including EntryID and what not), or if it is a true (literal) copy.]

Needless to say, as time goes on this is going to very seriously increase the size of Deleted Items (which will be at least twice the size of the mailbox we created [not accounting for other, permanent, deletes]), and many of our clients prefer to keep select ones of their old messages in Deleted Items much like a recycle bin. This 'glitch' will therefore seriously aggravate many of them as it's at least twice as many to sort through! ;-) It certainly has aggravated ME! ;-)

Has anyone run into this problem before, or does anyone happen to have an idea as to the reason(s) and/or solution(s)?
