Thanks. Yes, I've been referred to your articles before and have learned a lot from them!

The problem with what you say above, though, is that this still would (of course) wind up with a copy of the message in Deleted Items, which is specifically the part I am trying to avoid. So unless I then AGAIN delete the message from Deleted Items, it's "stuck" :)

That must be what the .Move method does ... copy the message and then delete the original? What I do not understand about this, though, is that when you MANUALLY move a message (right-click and select "Move to Folder...") in Outlook, this doesn't happen. So I have to wonder what the "extra" part is they're doing.

At any rate, I'll review the articles again to see what's to see about moving things around. :)
