I am working on an app that consists of three forms. The app tracks patient to physician assignments (primary care provider). The first form is the main menu. The second form has a parameterized view in its data environment that prompts the user for the patient primary index (numeral) and allows the user to assign a physican to the patient by a drop down list. The third form (which is displayed before the second form) hosts an option group that the user chooses a location from (which uses a second vew to supply the drop down list on the "second" form consisting of physicians available at that location).
I need help with this --->After this process is completed, I need the user to be able to look up another patient and repeat the process. I think one way is to change the mrun, requery the view, and refresh the form..but I am not sure how to accomplish this. The DB has 171,000+ patients and will be ran from multiple locations.
Right now I have a seperate view for each location, but I am in the process of rewriting one location-physician view parameterized by a user prompted variable (the patient primary index). I am wondering if a variable should be used for the parameterized view that looks up the patient information?
