Absolutely correct! The sequence was 16, 7 and finally 9. He's the only Hall of Fame caliber player I know of in any sport that wore more than one different uniform with the same team. I think that the Blackhawks retired 9. Speaking of retired numbers and triva, most time a number is retired after a player is no longer active. However, in the 1990's Chicago had two players who had their number retired for their respective teams on the active player roster at the same time. One, of course, was Michael Jordan with the Bulls. So the question is: What team, what number and what player was also active and wearing his retired number?
