I have a form with a cancel button with .cancel set to .t.

When form is in edit mode, .cancel is set to .f. to allow escape out of edit mode.

When escape out of edit mode, a method is called that resets all the text boxes and set focus to a grid on the form. It also needs to set .cancel back to .t. but the form then cancels. How do I stop the form canceling when I set .cancel back to .t. ?
