I saw a solution to the virus that looked simple. Over in the DEVX newsgroups someone posted a WSH script that will go into the registry and change the default for double clicking on a file, from OPEN to EDIT. So if someone doubleclicks on a file they'll end up with the file in Notepad.

I think for me this is a better solution than overreacting. Someone would have to go to some effort to run a script.
