Hi

I am not sure if this is relevant, but a "sum to" moves the record pointer to the bottom of the file.

So the when the record that your user is searching for is found, and displayed on your form, your sum to statement
will move the record pointer to the bottom of the file.

Maybe you should take not of the record number of the record found, before you do a "sum to" , the move back to that
record once the "sum to " has finished.
