Hi Kev,
Let me clearify what your suggesting. You say not to make any changes to a Table before copying it to the
directory where the container and other files are and then make your changes after the copy ? Not sure if that's
doable ? Won't the database be invalid from the moment you overlay a file attached to it ? I found the only way
I could do that was to remove the original table from the database container, overlay the file, then make the
changes to the fields, indexes and pass the file before adding it back to the container. Problem with that is the
data is remote and big and involves a long transfer to my machine to modify and reset and the users drive me
crazy with downtime on systems. Maybe this stonefield application is what we need here to start off with.
