We're ok on performance, its just that there is some "flakiness" that goes on at times, that don't generally seem repeatable in debug mode (tends to lead us to believe it event cycling). We have used profiler to improve the performance of both initiation and execution. We are definetly planning on rewriting this app such that it only instantiates those sections that it needs, when it needs them. My concern was if we had already passed the threshold, I wanted to avoid getting close to the threshold when we redid it. It sounds like, from your reply, that there really isn't to much of a resource threshold persay, that could start to cause VF to periodically drop the "event" ball (i.e., juggling).
